Suryodaya College of Engineering & Polytechnic recently felicitated the delegatesfrom the North- Eastern states who have been in Mahatrashtra under theprogramme named ‘STUDENTS’ EXPERIENCE IN INTER-STATE LIVING’ aninitiative of Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad. Every year this programme is runby ABVP to bring the Seven Sisters viz. Seven North-Eastern States of India close to the rest of Indian States in cultural context. This felicitation programme was chaired by the Chief Guest, Miss Kanchantai Gadkari, President Seva Sadan Education Society and the Guest Of Honour Mr. Prfulji Akant, National Co-
organizational Minister, ABVP. Many cultural events were organized to welcome the delegates such Vithobachi Vari and Lavani to acquaint them with the culture of Maharashtra. The delegates also presented their tribal dance. It was a nice phenomenon of Unity in Diversity, the signature mark of India. The programme was graced by Shri. Dipakji Chafle, President, NRDRS and Mr. Ranjit Chafle, Secretary, NRDRS along with Mr. Abhishek Belkhede, Director and the event
organizer Prof Rasika Chafle. The ceremony was concluded with Vote of Thanks by Principal Dr. Chandrakant Ragit.
